Insecurity and ego

Insecurity of individuals when combined with their ego is often very dangerous... especially for relationships...

Expectations...

Some people say that expectations hurt... they say that don't expect from ppl because if they are not fulfilled then you get hurt. I agree with the philosophy that if you don't expect something from a person then the risk of you getting hurt is minimized and it makes you happy if you get something when you wasn't expecting it. But, at the same time, it is also a defeatist attitude towards life... I believe that expectations should be more from people who are in a closer circle and they should lessen as the circle expands... (Having said that, the close circle should be chosen carefully) I think that the "not too much, not too less" principle applies in this case as well. Expectations, (if at all you wanna think that much) should be reasonably justified...

Be prepared to walk alone if you wish to do something different. Don't expect someone to be with you, especially when what you wanna do is like walking off the beaten track...
